The heart behind THERAFFUND.ORG was born out of a desire to care for those families that have been forgotten. Few people can understand the reality of receiving a life-altering diagnosis. How the simple, everyday motions of life suddenly present what can feel like insurmountable obstacles. Rob & Crystal were faced with some of these same challenges when their oldest child was diagnosed with Autism - The need to create a safe, comfortable home for Rowan and their family. The desire to provide both their children with every advantage and opportunity to succeed. The hope that they were not alone. While Rob and Crystal were already donating to charities they felt a push to find a way to do more. As the business owner of a roofing construction company, Rob’s extensive knowledge and understanding of the construction industry coupled with Crystal’s keen eye for design and aesthetics, the dream for The Rowan Atlee Foundation was born.
