Tile Roofs have been a preferred roofing system for homeowners for many years, because of the durability, prestigious appearance, and longevity that they provide.
When it comes to longevity, a tile's life expectancy can be even furthered by a better choice of tile underlayment.
Triune uses a modified tile underlayment, which is thicker and more durable than the traditional 90 pound tile underlayment which is known for tearing and cracking, resulting in roof leaks. |
Also, to extend tile roof life expectancy, Triune uses polyfoam tile adhesive, as opposed to using a nail system to fasten the roof tiles to the modified underlayment. (Nail system upon request) The polyfoam system prolongs tile life because no nail penetrations are made through the tiles. Polyfoam tile adhesive is the best product available and has been tested to withstand 140 m.p.h. winds.
When correct methods and installation are applied, tile roofs can well last up to 35 years.
When deciding on a tile roof system, remember that there is a wide variety of colors, profiles, and elements; such as clay or cement to choose from, to ensure the perfect style to fit each and every home.
